I was the in-house Design Team Lead at Activision for nearly five years. Later, I became an Art Director at Mutiny, a creative agency, working with Call of Duty as our main client.

Modern Warfare III Launch

I’ve launched many Call of Duty titles, but this was the first time I was able to be on the concepting side of the launch campaigns.

We took the annual Call of Duty “Sick Note” to the next level, send helpful SMS messages from our CoDcierge and created social teases for CoD’s “The Lobby” launch video.

Black ops Free Trial key art

This key art for Black Ops 4 was created using a combination of in-game renders and stock photography. The artwork was designed to promote the new Alcatraz battle royale map. I collaborated closely with the development studio to ensure that the art accurately reflected the in-game changes made during development.

Unfortunately, my tagline pitch, "Will you be my Palcatraz?" didn't make the cut.

WWII Reveal event assets

For the Call of Duty: WWII reveal event livestream, I was responsible for creating a large series of slides to showcase the in-game models for weapons, vehicles, and characters.

The only requirements were that the slides would look great on a large screen behind a stage and that they had to be consistent with the game's branding. Since the game was still in early development, I collaborated with the development studio to obtain the weapon renders.

Additionally, the reveal event logo featured different sets of Morse Code that translated to the coordinates of key locations for the event.

Sounds of Vondel vfx

DJ Oliver Heldens composed an original song for the launch of Call of Duty's new Amsterdam-themed map, Vondel. To promote this, the team produced a music video for the EDM track.

I collaborated with capture artists and editors on the video, and even created animated graffiti scenes myself. We had a tight deadline and made several revisions based on the client's art direction.

COD CHamps infographic

This Call of Duty infographic is designed to be posted as a whole or in pieces. It showcases the achievements of the player-base across all Call of Duty games to date. The infographic was also used to promote the upcoming Call of Duty Champs tournament on social media channels and blog posts.

Valentine’s Day Cards

The client asked for a Valentine's Day social media post to promote their new content drop and Quartermaster character in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.

The digital posts were designed to have a nostalgic 90s Valentine's Day card feel. I created the layouts, designs, and copy for the posts.

All of the Quartermaster illustrations were by Darasavanh Navasak.

Using PC builds and PS4 test kits, I’ve taken (way too many) screenshots to promote upcoming releases, modes, events and cosmetics.

The dev tools were made to replicate photography settings, allowing you to make ‘em look noice.
